Halloween

Halloween was great this year! We hosted a small party with Garth's family and had so much fun. Elizabeth dressed up as vampire princess and Claire was a skeleton. We decorated a little more than usual with a witch being the main focus. She turned out great and we had a lot of compliments from the trick-or-treaters. I wish that I taken pictures of what it looked like at night because it was amazing! Garth put a fog maching in the cauldron along with green glow sticks. We also put a glowstick behind the eyes of the mask causing the whole mask to glow green. During the evening we noticed that the green glow was not as prominent as it was before. This was odd because glow sticks were supposed to last for 10 hours. So we checked it out and the kids who had chosen to take a closer look were taking the glowsticks!! Out of seven, only two were left. So we added a black light and a mini-strobe set to slow pulse. The effect was awesome. When it turned dark, I sat on a chair on the opposite side of our walk way. I was dressed as a witch and would sit as still as possible so when the people came up the way I could jump at them. We had a several really good screams and several words spoken that cannot be posted. :) So here are the pictures from our Halloween. (Try to imagine black lights and fog in the yard)
