Garth had an appointment for his back in Pendleton, OR two weeks ago. I was able to tag along so we sent the girls with my mother-in-law (thanks Grammy!!) and had a couple days to ourselves. His appointment went really well and workman's comp. has finally accepted his claim! Yay!! On the way home, we stopped and cut down our Christmas tree. The location on our license was only three miles from the freeway. It didn't take us long to find the perfect tree. It was a good thing because we weren't equipped to be cutting a tree down in the dark and daylight was not going to last much longer. Here are some pics. Enjoy!
Here it is at home decorated with shatter proof ornaments. I had a bunch of candy canes on it, but by the next day Claire had eaten or opened most of them she could reach at the bottom of the tree.
