Halloween

Halloween was fun this year. On Friday we went to the Montgomery's corn Maze here in Ontario. I'm mad that I didn't think to bring our camera. It was the first time we had been to a corn maze as a family. Claire didn't like the haunted part of the maze so much. Some of the "ghosts" made her cry really bad. Elizabeth kept telling us that she wasn't going to be scared, but as soon as the scarecrow got off his stand and started to follow us she changed her mind and wouldn't let go of my hand. When we got out of the haunted section we decided to go through the next phase. Claire was still really upset and kept saying that she just wanted to go home. After a while she calmed down and walked the entire maze by herself. Liz had fun deciding which way we should turn. When we finished the maze the girls fed some goats and went through some more mini-mazes. We had a really good time.
We didn't host our annual Halloween party, but Garth's brother Chad took over for us and we had a great time. (Especially since we didn't have to clean up the mess.) Lizzy and Claire made my job very easy when it came to costumes. They both wanted to be the same thing they were last year, Liz was a vampire princess and Claire was a skeleton. Here are few pictures from our fun over the weekend.

Our fabulous pumpkins: Claire, Liz, and Garth. I helped Claire with hers so I didn't need one.

Liz and Claire in their costumes. This was in Chad's front yard in Middleton.

Lizzy in her vampire princess costume. Shari let us borrow one of Ysabel's old costumes. Thanks Shari!!
